Arvid was a 14 yr resident of Mesa, AZ. Born in Glencoe, MN, 5/28/1940, and long time resident of WA, passed away 2/26/2023, at the age of 82, surrounded by family, in his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hazel Rannow, his twin brother David, and his first wife, Bonnie L. Rannow (Feltmann). He is survived by his wife, Pat Rannow, daughters, Christine Nelson and Elayn (Jim) Schultz and sons Dwight (Terri) Rannow and Steven (Danielle) Rannow. As well as, many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers Duane (Elnora), and Roger, and sister Susan (Sid) Schiefert, sister in law Diane Rannow, nieces and nephews, and many more loving family and friends.
He was a 6 yr veteran of the US Navy 1958 – 1963. He will be interred at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent WA.
Arvid had been a hard working man having had a variety of jobs, including climbing poles for the phone company, grocery, forklift driver, computer programmer, and a business owner with 3 Subway shops, to mention a few. His later joys included Bingo caller for the community where he lived in Mesa, crafting ceramics and glassware, and proud to have sewn, with his wife, more than 2500 cloth masks and countless heart pillows for breast cancer patients.
He was loved by all he knew and will be greatly missed.
