Bobby Allen Troxell

Bobby Allen Troxell was born on January 28, 1950 in Alliance, Nebraska to Donna Wilson Troxell and Wayne Walton Troxell. He passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 76.

Bobby served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War which was an experience that weighed heavily on him throughout his life. In 1984, he married Caryn McKinley and had two children, Lindsey and Michael. In 1990, he married Lecia Lutzenberger and had two more children, Kyle and Rachel. They were married for over 20 years.

Cars and trucks were both his hobby and passion. He spent countless hours in the garage modifying, customizing, and building. He never owned a vehicle that wasn’t unique and always turned heads on the road. He loved going to car shows and often brought his family along. Over the years he won many awards and was featured in several magazines.

Baseball was another great passion of his and one that the whole family shared. He loved playing catch, talking stats, and even coaching. He was so happy when the Diamondbacks won the World Series in 2001. There was a lot of couch jumping and high fiving that night!

Sadly, in his later years, depression, anxiety, and PTSD became battles he could not overcome. He is survived by his father; two sisters; four children; eleven grandchildren; and his former spouses. We will always remember him for his many talents and his sense of humor. He told the best jokes.

Rest peacefully, Dad.

A memorial service is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on March 5th, 2026 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
