Caroline was 50 years young when she passed away at Banner University on December 5, 2025 due to heart failure.
She was born in Wahiawa, Hawaii on Valentines day in the year 1975 to Marie and Samuel Deuz. When Caroline was 20 years old she was diagnosed with systemic lupus which caused a ripple effect on the overall health of her body mentally and physically up until her last breath. Through it all Caroline was still a dedicated and loving house wife, an amazing mother, daughter, sister, aunty, granddaughter, niece and friend. Despite all of her obstacles in life, family was a #1 priority. Her selflessness lead to putting everyone else before herself. She was a strong woman who carried her cross for 30 years with strength, endurance, and a whole lot of love.
Caroline is survived by her husband Daniel Kahawaii, children Kelli and Gabriel De Santiago, Daniel and Katelin Kahawaii, Mother and Father Marie and Samuel Deuz Sr., Brother Samuel (Tracy) Deuz Jr., Sister Cheryl (Seth) Duangprachanh, she had 4 Grandchildren Kalel, Jonn, Selena De Santiago and Castiel Kahawaii, and Grandmothers Gloria Samala and Virginia Samala.
