Christopher Wise

Christopher Wise

Christopher Harlan Wise passed away at his home on February 10th, 2017. Born August 1st, 1980, Chris lived a bright and adventurous, loved and loving, 36 years. As a teenager, he was diagnosed with epilepsy and endured many severe seizures, which took their toll over time. But never once did he allow that to hinder his sense of adventure and his desire to succeed.

Chris was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and enjoyed all the outdoor activities that comes with a life here, but his favorite, by far, was fishing. He and his Grandpa Harlan would go regularly and Chris continued to enjoy the pastime even into his adult years. In addition to his outdoor interests, Chris ventured into several professional interests. From being a pharmacy tech to working on the wiring harnesses of the Boeing 787 to doing his own home projects, Chris had a wide variety of expertise. His greatest accomplishment, however, was his family.

Chris and his wife, Heidi, met in 1999 and married in 2006. Together, they made two brilliant and beautiful daughters, Kensi and Kendall. These three girls were Chris’ absolute world and he was so incredibly proud of them. There is no doubt he would do anything to care for them and bring them happiness, and it is also certain that his love will continue to endure as he watches over them through the years.

Our Heavenly Father has called Chris home and though we will always wish for more time, we find great comfort in knowing that he is now with his Grandpa Harlan and has found peace in the Kingdom of Heaven, no longer experiencing the pain and exhaustion that he knew here on Earth. We are thankful he spent time in our lives, and equally thankful he is well cared for in Heaven.

Chris – Your soul is strong, your heart large, and your love endless. You are so dearly missed and so deeply loved; we look forward to the day when we are all together as a family again. Until then, know that your three girls will always be cared for and loved.

Chris is survived by his wife, Heidi, and their two daughters, Kensi and Kendall, his parents, Kim and Wanda, his three brothers, Eric, Ryan, and Alex, and his sister, Karilyn. He will be buried at the Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn, WA, with private services held by his family. A celebration and memorial of his life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 308th Street in Federal Way, WA on Saturday, February 25th at 1pm.
