Dawn Lyn Gadberry, age 68, tragically passed away peacefully in her home Monday, May 9, 2022. Born in 1953 on September 18 to her loving parents Charles and Audrey in Milwaukee, Wisconsin along with her five siblings Char, Jan, Del, Star, and their beloved youngest brother Chad.
Dawn is survived by her 3 sons Kevin, Kyle, Shane (Bud), and daughter Taylor (she always wanted a daughter, and her prayers were answered). Plus her 3 beautiful grandchildren Mia, Ranie, and Tessa. All of these she loved tirelessly and touched deeply.
Dawn, along with her siblings were/was raised in Mequon, WI. A point of emphasis and pride, she never passed up an opportunity to share a story of her beloved home state. During her time in Wisconsin, she made many friends as her children are learning from stories recently shared. She left a lasting impact as many of you have been reaching out with words of comfort and sharing stories. At the age of 17, her family relocated to Mesa, Arizona. Settled in Mesa Dawn attended Westwood High School. Soon after high school graduation, Dawn found herself at Ricks College (Brigham Young University-Idaho, BYU-I) in Rexburg, Idaho, living her best life.
As much as she loved her family and grandchildren Dawn also loved her LDS faith. As a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day. It brings her family comfort knowing she is with her Savior. Her life was an example of giving and forgiveness. Traits she handed off to her 4 children. Character traits her 4 beloved children will lovingly carry with them in her honor.
