Debra Lynn Meier

Debra Lynn Meier (Saucy), a loving mother, fierce friend, and a joyful presence to those around her, passed away peacefully in late January 2026. She was deeply cherished and will be forever missed by all who knew her.

There are so many wonderful things to say about her. Her love shaped everything, and she gave kindness so freely—to her children, friends, family, strangers, and animals alike. Her generosity, warmth, and strength left a mark on everyone she met.

She had the brightest smile and the most beautiful laugh, both were magnetic and could light up any room. She gave so much of herself, always thinking of others first and loving without hesitation. A hard worker, she accomplished so much for herself and for her family, giving everything she had, even the shirt off her back. She inspired those around her with her heart, determination, and boundless love.

Debbi took joy in simple pleasures. Purple was always her favorite, turtles held a special place in her heart, and she loved moments filled with laughter, good food, extra cheese, music, and togetherness—especially with her daughters, Sugar and Bug.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, McKenna (Bug) and Kayla (Sugar); her older brother, Michael Meier; her older sister, Meredith O’Neil Kuhl; and Lynn and Roger O’Neil, who became her chosen family and loved her deeply.

Debbi will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Denver, Colorado, alongside her mother, Joan Arloa Field, father, Robert Leroy Meier, and older brother, Dale John Meier, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her younger sister, Megan O’Neil.

Debbi will live on in the hearts of her daughters, through the memories of their adventures and the dreams they shared of exploring the world together.

Her memory will live on in every act of kindness, every loyal friendship, and every life she touched. 💜
