Denise Poage

Denise Poage, 56, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away on the night of April 25th, 2020 at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona.

Denise was born April 17, 1964 in Torrance, California. She sailed the Pacific as a young adult, served in the Army, and worked in the dental field for 20+ years.

She had the biggest, kindest heart. Everyone instantly wanted to be around her. There was no better friend to have. Her smile and laugh could cure any sadness. She had a deep love for her family and it showed.

She could be found spending her time in the yard, tending to her plants. She was crafty and handy – strong, brave, and empathetic.

Her last few years were painful due to her medical conditions. Those that loved Denise could take some comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

She leaves behind her daughter, Becca; her grandchildren, Odin and Myles; companion, Paul; stepchildren Karli Sue, Matthew, Shawn, Chelsea, and Courtney; and step-grandchildren Haley, Quinn, Jax, and Noah.
