Betty passed away on Monday, June 1, 2021 at her home in San Tan Valley, Arizona with her family. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Glenn Haist as well as her two children; Sarah and Emily (Tony), her 2 grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor, her loving nieces and nephew; Elizabeth (Casey), Katie (JP) and Garrett, 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew, Bunny and John and many other family members and friends.
Betty was born on May 5th 1948 in Philadelphia, PA to Anna and Eugene Davis. Betty was the oldest of four children, with her sister Nancy and brothers Albert and Gary. She met and fell in love with her first husband Jack, a Philly cop, in 1977. They lived a beautiful life in Philadelphia having 2 beautiful girls and several cats. In 1995, Jack had succumbed to cancer. Betty raised her 2 girls by working for a jeweler. As love would have it, she fell in love with the mailman. They married and lived out there days in sunny Arizona. Betty is known for her love of God, her family, friends and her kind heart. Betty was welcomed to heaven by her parents Anna and Eugene and her beloved husband Jack, her sister and brothers. Her family would like to thank Hospice at Home of Arizona for their personal professionalism and support. In lieu of flowers Betty’s family requests that donations be made in her name to Hospice at Home of Arizona. |
