Gabriel David Wharton was born in in Ammon Idaho, the last of 5 children to Kathleen and Roy Wharton. He was mostly raised in Aberdeen Idaho with his brothers Matthew and Jason, and sisters Suzie and Rebecca. Gabby, as he was known, was a great fun loving little brother, who loved to follow in the footsteps of his older brothers. Intelligent and adept, he had many good friends, also talents, learning several musical instruments, involved in sports, carpentry and computer technology. At the age of 13 the family moved to Mesa Arizona, where he graduated from Mesa High School. Aside from being knowledgeable in the computer tech world and carpentry, Gabe later pursued a Nursing degree after his marriage to Nancy in 2004. He became a Registered Nurse, working in the ICU at the Maricopa Burn Center for 8 years. He was greatly loved by both patients and coworkers, as he had such a compassionate way about him. His best role however was as Dad, having a wonderful son Tyler, and two beautiful daughters Suzie and Nora, who adored him. He was also everyone’s favorite uncle to a slew of nieces and nephews, friends and relatives, who loved his ruckus and fun adventures, cookouts and get-togethers. Gabe leaves behind his parents, Roy Wharton & Kathleen Wharton, his brothers Matthew L. Wharton & Jason L. Wharton; his sister Rebecca Bulwa; children: Tyler, Suzie Quinn, & Nora Wharton, with ex-wife Nancy. He is reunited in Heaven with his sister Sue Ann Wharton, who has passed in 2003. Gabe was a baptized member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. May God rest his soul. We love you Gabe. Till we meet again, rest easy. |
