George William Arnold, Jr. (63), passed away on September 13, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona in the comforts of his home. He was born on December 12, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was preceded in death by both of his parents George and Betty Jo Arnold.
George is survived by his wife, Dewanna “Dee” Arnold of Mesa, children Thomas Treadway (Tara) of Mesa, Kathy Jo Pounders (Daryl) of Mesa, Wadenna “Deena” Treadway of Mesa, Kelly Chiaravalle (Jim) of Clover, South Carolina and Kevin Arnold (Kristen) of Mesa, 17 grandchildren and sister Deborah Seeber (DJ) of Littleton, Colorado.
George grew up in Morrow, Ohio and attended Kemper Military School in Booneville, Missouri. He moved to Arizona in 1973. He had an obsession for football and a passion for fishing and golfing. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and telling storries about the farm. He recently started attending the First Baptist Church of Apache Junction.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at A Wise Choice Desert View Chapel, 9702 East Apache Trail, Mesa, Arizona 85207. Visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00 AM with a service immediately followng in the chapel.
