George Charles Morean passed away peacefully, with his wife and daughter by his side on January 7, 2023 in Mesa ,AZ.
George was born on March 17, 1944 in Phoenix, AZ to Oscar and Hester Morean. He grew up all over Arizona but enjoyed living in Yarnell the most and spending time with his grandfather. George is proceeded in death by his parents- Oscar and Hester Morean, brother-Thomas Morean, sister- Myrtle (Tootie) Roberts, and mother-in-law-Dorothy Redmon.
George worked in janitorial services and floor care for most of his career. He liked working hard and never shied away from hard work. Once he retired he loved to garden and spent many seasons harvesting all manner of fruits and vegetables.
George met and married his true love Donna in 1972 and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together in September 2022.
George loved Mexican food. He would have eaten it seven days a week if he could. He also enjoyed cooking. His homemade salsa was amazing and his family and friends were always requesting that he make some for them. He made awesome breakfast food and his pancakes were the best.
George adored his family. He loved being a father and a grandfather. When his grandsons were little you could always find them out with their Tata helping him with whatever he was doing outside.
George is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Camille, and grandsons Tanner and Tyler, and many extended family who loved him.
Services for George will be held at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints , 1221 W Howe St, Tempe, AZ 85281, on March 18th, 2023 at 12pm. All are welcome to attend.
