Geraldine Prefontaine

Geraldine V Prefontaine passed away on December 26, 2021. She had been in the hospital for several months due to an injury. She was released from the hospital on December 24, and spent the holidays at home with her family. She was married to Maurice Prefontaine in August of 1973 and enjoyed 36 years of marriage, until his passing. She was the mother of 6 children, numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She moved to Arizona in 1977 from Massachusetts and made Arizona her home. She Retired from Desert Samaritan hospital, where she worked as a supervisor of environmental services. She was active with her church and always made time to help others and give of herself. Upon passing, she was with close family members at her bedside and died peacefully in her sleep.
