Gina Sorg

Gina Sorg passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 70. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and moved to Arizona at the age of six, where she was raised and spent most of her life. In her 40s, she relocated to Colorado, but returned to Arizona five years ago to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gregory Sorg; her children, Brant Willetts, Dustin Willetts, Erin Willetts, and Jessica Ogden; her daughters-in-law, Brandy Willetts and Sara Mendez; her son-in-law, Malachai Ogden, her brothers Thomas Petty, and Bill Petty. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply. She will be joining her sister Linda Snyder and brother Jerry Petty whom recently passed.

Gina was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved working on puzzles, took pride in her unique collection of clocks, and never missed a chance to enjoy a good scary movie. She was also an avid fan of UFC, appreciating the excitement and intensity of the sport. Above all, Gina loved her family and her dogs with all her heart.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her

Gina was the rock behind this family ❤️ I’m going to miss her contagious laughter, and the way I felt so at home with Her, She was my Mother n law for 10 years, and the best Grandmother to my Son,Brant (Jr) Arthur Willetts and Daughter Brittnee June Willetts! Even though I divorced Her Son Brant A. Willetts, She would always make it clear that I did not Divorce the Family. That was the way she was, always loving, She loved Her Lovie Greg Sorg with all of her heart ❤️ I’m going to miss hearing Hearing Her calling Him Lovie and He would in turn call Her Buckets❤️ She had so many journeys in Her life, I loved hearing all about them, as She would also listen to all I would have to share with her!
She wasn’t just a Mother n Law or ex Mother n Law but the best of Friends you truly could ask for! I Loved You Gina, I’m going to miss you forever 😥🪽❤️
