Obituary
Jane Marie Wagner passed away peacefully on Oct. 23, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona. Jane was born on March 5, 1936 in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. Jane retired from the State of Washington, Employment Security. She relocated to Mesa, Arizona where she enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and volunteering for St. Vincent De Paul.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Doris Demarais; her sister, Lois Ann; her brother, Gerald; and her beloved granddaughter, Arvene Marie Umathum. Jane is survived by her loving husband, Al Wagner and five children, Steve Thorgrimsen, Erik (Amparo) Thorgrimsen, Karin McElheney, Phillip Thorgrimsen, and Thomas (Anndra) Thorgrimsen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, 5 sisters, and a myriad of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jane loved life and will be remembered for her unconditional love and caring for everyone. The joy of Jane?s smile will be missed by all who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Cross, St. Vincent De Paul where Jane spent countless hours volunteering for those in need.

My grandmother was one of a kind. Although our time together was somewhat short lived, all of my memories of her will be held close to my heart.

Mama,
You gave your children an example of uncompromising love. Pouring yourself out into family, friends,
strangers. You always were giving of your time and resources to the least of these… as it says in The Bible Matthew 25:35,40 (35)”For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, (40) “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
I remember many teachable moments Mama would present through her example. Her life principles of true life success and significance were evident and clear.
Mama you were always proud of me regardless of financial success, mistakes in life, or affliction I carry. You stood firm unwavering, uncompromising, to always encourage me and those needing life’s lift in this fallen world.
I hope to carry on your legacy to encourage people in this world as you did.
Mama, you are greatly loved and greatly missed.
