Kimberly Whipple

“There are some who bring so great a light to the world that even after they have gone the light remains.”

Kimberly (Kim) Alayne Whipple, (Rowell) finished her battle with pancreatic cancer on November 9, 2020 at the age of 60, having lived and loved longer than expected. After Kim’s diagnosis, she spent much of her time with her children and their families, making memories that will live on forever.

Kim was born in Oklahoma on August 27, 1960. She was a steady light in the lives of her family and friends. Kim was proud of all eight of her grandchildren, tucking each one into her heart whether they came by birth or marriage. Kim was an adored friend, sister, mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. Her thoughtful kindness made a lasting impression on everyone who was lucky enough to meet her.

Kim followed her parents, Woodie and June Rowell and lives on in the hearts of her brother, Wesley Rowell; her sons, Patrick (Wife Brittney), Jeffrie (Wife Lauren) and Dustin (Wife Melissa); and 8 grandchildren; Ashton, Kendal, Kendra, Kai, Tyson, Gregory, Lillian, and Jason.

Kim, you were loved by so many, and was a big part of our family. You were family. I will cherish all of our memories, our talks, and laughs. And now you can rest, and not be in pain anymore. My prayers are with all of the family. Love you Kim
