Leo Roland Lamontagne was born in a little town called Berlin, New Hampshire in 1946. Leo came from a hard working family that prided themselves on family, friends, faith and dedication in whatever they did. Leo carried these values throughout his life and never regretted any part of life. Those that knew Leo had the privilege of a reliable friend and confidant who was always there to lend some advice with a side of humor.
Growing up was a hard life lesson but this prepared him for his life to come of military service of serving in the Vietnam War then on to firefighting for another 29 years. His heart was full of pride for his fellow veterans and any thing he could do for them.
Leo was also a proud father, brother, son, uncle and grandfather. Coming from an extensive family, Leo knew no stranger. Those left to celebrate his life are his son, Stacie Lamontagne daughter in law Victoria Lamontagne, grandsons Ethan and Jesse, siblings Pauline Guilmette with brother in law Harris Guilmette, Roland Lamontagne with his wife Estelle Lamontagne and nieces Amy Lamontagne and Kelly Lamontagne, great nephews Connor and Demitri and brother Moe Lamontagne.
