Leslie W. McQuiston, 89, of Forest Lakes, AZ, died July 3, 2009. He was born in Nelson, Wisconsin on September 15, 1919. Married in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on March 1, 1946 to Louise E. Rossiter. He was a World War II Veteran serving with the 7th Armor Division, and a Purple Heart recipient. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise, son’s Dennis (Wendy) McQuiston of Red Oak, TX, Edwin (Ellie) McQuiston of Mesa, AZ; 10 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Dianne L. McQuiston. A Graveside will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N. Center in Mesa. “He was well loved and respected by family and friends, and will always be in our hearts. He will be missed by all who knew him.”
