Macumber, Janet

Janet Fleischer Weinzetl Macumber, age 94, passed away on November 20, 2017 in her home in Mesa, AZ, where she had lived for over 30 years.

She was born on April 3, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Janet was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Weinzetl Sr. & by her second husband, Amer Macumber, brothers Eugene P. Fleischer, Charles Fleischer, Paul Fleischer and sister Eleanor Woods.

Survived by Children –  son Robert (Marlene) Weinzetl Jr. of Cleveland OH, daughter Linda Weinzetl of Gilbert, AZ., daughter Robin (Louis) Boscia of Gilbert, AZ. & Bruce (Karen) Weinzetl of Atlanta GA.

Grandchildren – Denise (Tom) Winslow, Brian Poff, Robert Weinzetl III, Aedan Boscia, Katherine (Mike) Boscia-Greatorex, Zack (Miriam Martinez) Boscia, Jon (Christine) Boscia & Jennifer (Rich) O’Laughlin.

Great Grandchildren – Caitlyn Bryce  and 4 other great grandchildren.

Brothers –Alan (Arlene) Bauer, Gordon (Barbara) Fleischer, and Dale (Diane) Fleischer.

She enjoyed several years attending Oakwood Creative Care. She was their goodwill ambassador, always meeting the new members & making them feel welcome.   Her picture will remain on Oakwood’s transport van & their website for all to see and remember her.

She was a 73 year member of Order of the Eastern Star, belonging in both PA & AZ, a long standing member of Order of the Amaranth, and the Social Order of the Beauceant.

The family held private services.

With deepest sympathy and prayers to Robin, Linda, and family. I am so happy I got to spend time with her a few weeks ago… I will never forget her BEAUTIFUL SMILE and the countless smiles she brought to me!

We are so sad to have lost such a lovely one-of-a-kind lady and sister. She is no doubt teaching all the angels to roller skate.
