Marshall Applegate, 76, USAF retired, passed away on 10/10/2021 in Mesa, AZ. He and his wife Janice, moved to AZ in 2018 to be closer to their daughter and grandkids. They had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in July. He retired after serving 24 years in the military and was blessed to be able to pursue his love of flying. After retiring, he started a tax business in Utah and enjoyed working with his clients. He was also an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife Janice; daughter Joy; son-in-law Dale and 3 grandchildren, Marshall, Eliza, and Allison Eske as well as his brother Steven Applegate, and one niece and one nephew. At this time, no formal services are planned, but as arrangements are made, the family will send out information. Marshall was a man of integrity and gave 110% of himself no matter the circumstances. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. We love you, Vern.
