Nola Lausman

  1. Nola Hysinger Lausman, 91, peacefully entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona, with her son and daughter-in-law at her side. She was born in Brodhead, Kentucky, on January 6, 1930, to Walter and Ida (Saylor) Hysinger. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Taylor, Jr., in 1983 and Marvin Lausman in 2015, as well as her two brothers, Ray and Glynn Hysinger; and two sisters, Ruby Hilton and Opal Myers. She is survived by her son, Donald Tailleart (Linda) of Mesa, AZ; three granddaughters, Andrea Tailleart of Mesa, AZ; Nicole Tailleart (Chris Kelley) of Alexandria, VA; and Danielle Tailleart of San Diego, CA; two great-granddaughters, Clara and Margaret Kelley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nola had three stepchildren: Thomas “Chip” (Joan) Lausman of Rock Hall, MD; Michael (Lana) Lausman of Louisville, KY; and Marsha Outlaw of Louisville, KY. She had nine step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Nola was a dedicated member of the Crossroads Christian Church of St. Matthews. She attended Eastern Kentucky State College in Richmond, KY, and enjoyed traveling with her best friend and husband, Marvin. Besides enjoying card games, she was an avid movie buff and critic. She also enjoyed following the University of Kentucky basketball team. The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky. I am very sorry to learn that Nola has passed away. I hope her family and friends find comfort in knowing she is now in eternal peace.
