Quirino Balderrama passed on March 30, 2022, after 60 years of life.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years whom he cherished dearly, Cecilia.  He was preceded in death by his Father & Mother, Anastacio and Carmen, as well as sister, Lorraine Martinez.  He was a loving and dedicated brother to surviving siblings Maria (Travis) Golliher, Esther Balderrama, Steven (Michele) Nuñez, Sally Rodriguez, and Jennie (Steve) Nolasco.  Uncle/Tio to several nieces and nephews, cousin to countless members of both sides to his family, devoted congregation member, and friend to all he came to know and who came to know him.

He was born March 30, 1962, in Zacatecas, MX, the oldest of his siblings, and moved to the United States in early childhood for better opportunities.  He grew up between Santa Ana, CA and Phoenix, AZ, attending Carl Hayden High School, playing football and working to help his family.  After high school he relocated to San Diego county, beginning a 30+ year HVAC career, visiting Mexico to stay connected to his Father’s family, even helping on the ranch with daily chores.  Quirino always made sure to return to Arizona to visit his family and family frequented him in California as well.  He worked tirelessly to provide comforts in his and his wife’s life.  Beautiful homes he kept busy with projects, trips to dream destinations, always new adventures!  His family was grateful when he recently retired early and moved back to Arizona, the memories made will be cherished and remain a reminder that time together must not be taken for granted.

Services will be held for family and friends at his private home in Queen Creek, AZ, on Saturday, April 16th at 2PM.  Virtual attendance available via Zoom: Meeting ID:
