Rev. Sam Marion Allen

Sam Marion Allen was born to Sam and Lois Allen on January 20, 1936, in Tahoka, Texas. He married his high school sweetheart, Juanda Janell McReynolds on May 27, 1954, and they stayed together for 67 years. He was the father of four boys and had 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He left this world after 85 years on November 29, 2021. For now, all we will have is memories until we are reunited with Sam/Dad/Papa. : His unique ability to create friendships with anyone : The long days of work providing for the family : His childlike enjoyment of finding old coins : His ability to craft items of wood with minimal tools : His unmoveable love and faith in God In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. John 3: 16 The last few months have been difficult, and trying, yet Father God gave us memories that will never leave our minds. : His love and devotion for Mom after she passed. He placed pictures of them in little places around the house. : His increasing desire to move on from this home to his eternal home. Today, Dad, we say farewell until we meet again, but we are thankful that you are now holding the hand of Mom standing on the streets of gold awaiting the arrival of your loved ones.
