Robin White

Robin Angela (Webb) White passed away December 15th, 2020 at Citrus Manor Assisted Living in Mesa, Arizona. She was a loving wife, mother of two children, grandmother of six children and great-grandmother of two children.

Robin was born in Kelowna, British Columbia Canada on July 13th, 1941 to Harry Webb and Joan Webb. She was the oldest of two children, her sibling Heather resides on Salt Spring Island, B.C. Canada.

She graduated from Kelowna high school and married Bert Gibb in 1961. They had two children, Colin Gibb and Cindy Gibb.

Robin had a love for horses and competed in English Riding Shows and also Dressage.

In 1977, the family moved to Mesa, Arizona USA. She loved the change and the new challenges that faced her. They bought a dental laboratory that she ran successfully for many years. She divorced Bert in 1981.

On May 29th, 1981 she married Tom White. They loved to camp and fish especially at Apache Lake. Later they became very involved in showing Miniature Schnauzers and Giant Schnauzers. Robin was also very active in The Soroptimist International of Mesa. She was active in the community doing many charity events and fundraisers.

On Jan. 2nd, 2002 Robin’s youngest child Cindy passed away from cancer. This was a tragedy that she never overcame, only managed to cope with.

Robin was a naturally gifted artist and enjoyed sewing, stained glass, making and collecting teddy bears. Her favorite bears were Steiff bears.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry, her mother Joan, her daughter Cindy and her husband Tom. She is survived by her son Colin and his wife Nancy and their three children (Robin’s grandchildren) Karissa, Annalise and Westin. She also has three other grandchildren from her daughter Cindy with her husband Bob Little, Chelsea, Jordan and Shelby. Robin also has two great-grandsons Braxton and Rhett, the sons of Annalise (Gibb) Strohmaier and Alec Strohmaier.

Robin lived her last two years at Citrus Manor in Mesa, Arizona due to medical complications. She was very loved there and was given the best of care. Enough cannot be said for Julia and the ladies of Citrus Manor for their loving care.

Robin is not having a funeral service but will be having a celebration of life with family and friends. Her ashes will be spread at Apache Lake where her 2nd husband Tom’s ashes were spread.
