Virginia AKA: Ginny, Virg, the Redhead at Mikey’s and most of all, Mama.
Virginia was born in Yankton, South Dakota on August 2nd 1938. She moved to Illinois at a young age and graduated from Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, Illinois.
She went on to have four children John, Ty, Liese and Mickey. She had 8 grandchildren as well.
Virginia spent most of her life as a breakfast waitress, she loved to serve people and give them a hard time. Teasing and picking on people is what she loved to do and she was good at it!
She could hustle 3 plates of eggs, a pot of coffee, and make a trucker blush all at the same time!
People would go out of their way to just be waited on by Virginia. Nowhere could you get picked on by a waitress and enjoy it, leaving a tip and looking forward to coming back for more!
Eventually all that hustling took its toll and she had to retire. Retirement wasn’t easy for Virginia, and just like everyone, time and life chips away at the body.
Virginia waited till the sun went down on a Saturday night, March 6, 2021, and peacefully slipped into Eternity.
Mama was loved by all and will truly be missed!
