Virginia Paralie Mortensen Loskot passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 20th, 2021 at 91 in Mesa, Arizona.
She was born on the 1st of June 1929 in Elmo, Utah to Nephi Mortensen and Elsie Gena Oviatt. She had a difficult life losing her father at the age of fourteen and then her mother just eight years later. She was the sixth child out of nine. She spent most of her youth in Utah but as an adult lived in many states before settling in Arizona with most of her adult children. She passed many enjoyable hours reading and crocheting. She had 4 children, 15 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents, all of her siblings, her son-in-law Terry Green, and granddaughter Amy Green. She is survived by her children Tom (Kathy) Howe, Rhea Green, Mary (Ken) Kear, and Cara Loskot and their families.

Virginia was my friend. I miss her. A wonderful person. I always enjoyed the time I spent with her. She has blessed my life, and the lives of many others. Heaven received another angel when she left us. God bless her family.

I enjoyed Virginia as my dear visiting teacher and such a thoughtful caring person ,
She seemed ever aware of her friends and their struggles, I have been blessed by knowing her
and my condolences to Cara and her sisters and brother and grandchildren
