Betty Jean Krall, 87, of Gold Canyon, Arizona, and Baxter, Minnesota, was called home by the Lord on August 9, 2026 after a life filled with love, laughter and kindness. Born on September 29, 1938, Betty was raised on a farm in rural SW Minnesota, where she learned meaningful life skills and values. She attended country school through 8th grade and graduated from Ruthton High School in 1956. During her summers, she spent many hours babysitting for local families and worked as a waitress at Sid and Mins Restaurant in Pipestone, Minnesota.

While her children were in school, she was employed at Buffalo Ridge State Bank in Ruthton, Minnesota. In 1982, Betty, Gary and other family members developed and managed hotels in Grand Rapids and Brainerd, Minnesota.

Betty was strong in her faith and a devoted member of her church. She was active in the Alter Guild, Ladies Aid, and numerous other church activities. She found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, needlework, painting, working with stained glass, and quilting. Betty had a passion for music, playing the piano and organ and giving lessons to many. Betty is survived by her husband, Gary Krall; her daughter, Susan Krall; her son, Jeffrey Krall; her sister, Beverly Kruen; her brothers, Robert (Bob) Lange and Richard (Dick) Lange; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
