Obituary
Darla DeeNee (Limesand) Frank, 73, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2021 at Banner Baywood
Hospital in Mesa, AZ.
Darla was born April 15, 1947 in Park Rapids, Minnesota to Lyle and Veda (Goslar) Limesand. They
moved to Kellogg, Idaho when Darla was a young child and she graduated from Kellogg High School in
1965. She married William (Bill) Frank of Kellogg in 1980 and they lived at Moon Gulch in Kellogg until
2002 when they moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Bill passed away in 2010 and Darla moved to sunny
Mesa, AZ in 2015 to enjoy her retirement near family.
Darla worked in the Smelter Plant at the Bunker Hill Mine in Smelterville, Idaho for several years. The
rest of her career was in the medical office field working at the hospital in Silverton Idaho and Kootenai
Medical center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. When not working, Darla enjoyed shopping anywhere and
everywhere.
Those who knew Darla would say she was friendly and kind to all and would make friends everywhere
she went. She was selfless in giving and caring for others. During retirement she enjoyed caring for
seniors in their homes to keep herself busy. She loved spending time with family, especially her four
grandchildren.
Her legacy lives on through her surviving loved ones including daughter, Sandrelle (Sandy) Reynolds;
son, Lyle Umland; brother, David Limesand; son in law, Brian Reynolds; sister-in-law Tawni Limesand;
and grandchildren, Ashlee Reynolds, Taylor Reynolds, Deon Umland, and Kattie Umland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bill.
A celebration of life will be planned during the summer as safety measures allow in Idaho where loved
ones can share memories. Her ashes will be placed with Bills at that time.
