Obituary
On August 20,2020 our Heavenly Father called his faithful servant Florene Faye (Connolly) Beattie, home. Florene was born on April 8,1929 in Safford, Arizona to Heber James Connolly and Ivy Waite as one of 8 children. Florene was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints her entire life. Florene held several jobs throughout her lifetime but none gave her as much joy as working at the temple. Her commitment to her faith and her family was a testament of love and spirituality. Having been a single mother most of her life, her family was her pride and joy, raising four beautiful children. She instilled values of courage and strenght in all she met. It is said that the beautiful irony is that our loss is another’s reunion. How full her heart must be to reunite with those who have gone before her. There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains. Florene was one of those individuals. Florene is survived by one brother, Francis Davis of Tonto Basin, Az. 4 children Victor Beattie of Kettering, Ohio, Earl Beattie of Peoria, Illinois, David Beattie of Chandler Az. and Kerri Silva of Maricopa Az. She has 13 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly. Matthew 25:21 ” well done thou good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joy of the Lord.”
Services will be held on September 4th at Chandler Stake Center, Mcqueen & Ray Rd. Time pending.
