Obituary
Fran passed away on 7-14-2024 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 90.
Frances Ann Tiedgen was born in Eaton Rapids Michigan on 9-15-1933 to parents Harold & Frances (Petrakovitz) Tiedgen. Along with sibling brothers Oscar and Arnie, and sister Helen, they grew up in a farmhouse on Gunnell Rd. She graduated from Dimondale H.S. in 1950. After high school she worked for Oldsmobile in Lansing MI. Fran then married USMC veteran Carl Meisterheim in 1954, and they raised three sons near Springport Michigan. She was a loving mother and resourceful homemaker.
In later years, she resided in Eaton Rapids & East Jordan MI, and she wintered in Arizona, finally settling in Mesa, AZ.
Fran is survived by her sons Tom (Cathy) Meisterheim, Rick Meisterheim & John Meisterheim.
Three grandchildren, Uriah (T.J) Meisterheim, Lindsey Meisterheim, & Emily Meisterheim.
Two great grandchildren, Graham Meisterheim & Isaac Meisterheim, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Through all her years, Fran made many close friends.
She had an authentic smile with the ability to brighten your day.
She was very active, taking daily walks and also riding her bicycle.
She enjoyed dancing, fishing, gardening, and appreciated the many wonders of Mother Nature.
She also liked doing crossword & jigsaw puzzles.
Fran was talented. She played guitar and sang classic country & gospel songs. She was a member in music groups and loved playing music in church and with family. She was an excellent cook, and it brought her much joy to see others gobble up the meals and treats she had prepared.
At various times, she was also a caregiver for family & friends.
Frances was a kind person with a warm heart, who made the lives of others better for having known her. She often expressed her thanks for the many blessings she had received throughout her life.
She is dearly missed and will be forever remembered by those whose hearts that she touched.
