Obituary

George William Hlavaty April 24, 1924- June 20, 2020. He was born in Cleveland Ohio to parents Joe And Elizabeth Hlavaty. He had 2 older brothers; Joseph and Edward, sister Anne. George enlisted in World War 2 – Army in 1946/1948 as Rifleman 745. He received 2 medals: Victory and Occupational. George played football and was an amazing gymnast. He was married to Shirley Wolverton August 1965- August 1984. George was a residential painter until he retired. He loved his trips to Hawaii and Mexico. George was a member of VFW. His friends all called him Stuckie. George’s life will forever be cherished in the lives of his daughter Dianna Walker, son in law Edward Walker, grandson David Walker, granddaughter Callie Walker and great grandson Kaison. James Parker, Chris Parker, Wendy Keagy and proceeded in death Thomas Parker. Special appreciation to Hospice at Home and Wise Choice Funeral Services. Private memorial will take place at a later date.
