I had the pleasure of being the drummer in John’s band for 2 years back in Tucson in the late 70s.What a great musician and wonderful person. We shared good times during those 2 years. He is missed by many and did so many good things for many people. I was glad that I spoke to him a couple of times before he passed. My deepest sympathy to all family members.Rest in peace John.
