Obituary

Glenda Ruth Pfeifer (Mills) passed away peacefully at her home in Mesa, AZ, on Saturday, March 8th 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Glenda was born on January 10th 1957 to Leonard (Bud) and Maxine Mills in Armour, SD.
She was the youngest of 6 children. She was raised on the family farm and attended school in Armour. After high school, she moved around and explored different places while enjoying life, and ultimately returned to Armour to raise her 4 boys near family. Glenda had multiple ventures, with her favorite being raising livestock where she was close to home and running a limousine/shuttle service where she got to meet new people.

Glenda later relocated to Mesa, AZ, where she enjoyed hanging out with her life-long friend T.R. and her fur baby Lily. She loved to go rock hunting with friends, especially Denise Mills and Rita Scott. She found a passion for doing heat transfer printing on clothing and many other crafts, and enjoyed attending local craft fairs to sell her creations and meet new people.

Glenda was proceeded in death by her parents, Leonard (Bud) and Maxine Mills; brother, Wayne Mills; sister, Cora Ehresmann; grandson, Asher Pfeifer; granddaughter, Baby Pfeifer.

Surviving are her 4 children, Ryan (Jamie) Pfeifer of Elmore, AL; Chris (Tawnya) Pfeifer of Pierre, SD; Austin (Gina) Pfeifer of Powell, WY; Justin (Jenny) Pfeifer of Florence, AZ; Sister, Marjorie (CW) Burkett; brothers, Dennis and Marvin (Pat) Mills;
13 grandchildren, Jordan (Bailey) Pfeifer, Jaydon (Jolee) Wolter, Aubrie and Aaron Hunter, Jase Pfeifer; Riley and Raegan Pfeifer; Tyler, Cody, and Joshua Pfeifer; Aidan, Adelyn, and Archer Pfeifer, and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We invite you to join us in a celebration of her life to be held Saturday, March 15th, at 2:00 PM at Fountain of the Sun, Lake View Room, Mesa, AZ.

Final resting place will be Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Armour, SD. There will be a celebration of her life and burial in Armour, SD. Time and date to be announced.
