Obituary

JoAnn Squires, 87, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother completed her earthly journey on January 24, 2022, at her home in Mesa, Arizona, peacefully returning to her Father in Heaven, her husband, and many family members. JoAnn was born to C. Eugene and Norma Larsen Hess in Honeyville, Utah on July 24, 1934. She married her high school sweethear, C. Wray Squires, on June 27, 1952 in the Logan Utah Temple. She is survived by her children, Charles (Tika), Wendy Williams, Curtis (Laurie), Mark (Nanette), Larry (Margie), Mike (Nicole), Jeni (Dan) Anderson, 29 grandchildren, and 67 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Urayna McCall. A viewing will be held on Saturday, Febrary 5, 2022, at 9:00AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 454 N. Crismon Rd., Mesa, Az. 85207. The funeral service will follow the viewing at 10:00AM with graveside services at the Mesa City Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
