Josephine Cabansag

Today we celebrate the life of Mama Josie. Born in Binalonan Pangasinan, Philippines, 11/22/1955. She was a hard working, dedicated wife, mom, grandma, and sister, that was welcomed into this world. She lived a long life full of blessings, love, and care for and from her family. She was known for her amazing cooking skills, her love for harvesting plants and most especially her love for her family, which knew no bounds. She was the person that anyone could go to for anything. The way a home could be represented by a person alone, as she displayed characteristics of love, patience, caring, selflessness, sacrifice, comfort, and more than words could ever amount to describe. She loved hanging out with her family and friends, as she enjoyed all the moments and memories created to the fullest. With her around, the room would brighten up with smiles, love and laughter. There’s never been a day she didn’t leave a smile on our face and our stomachs empty, because as she’s always said, “eat more!”. As of 1/24/2024, God decided He needed His bravest soldier in heaven, she now rests with God in paradise, watching over all of us. Even now, we can still feel her love and presence. As long as we keep her in our memory and in our hearts, Mama Josie will rest in her home country, the Philippines. May she rest easy and in peace, our beautiful angel. She will be missed by all her loved ones: husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, rest of the family and friends. We love you and miss you very much po Mama Josie.
