Obituary

Kent William Grossman passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 27th, 2022 at the age of 63 after a courageous recovery effort from a stroke. He is survived by his dear wife, Tha, and three children, Michael, Andrew and Lisa.

Kent was born on May 5^th, 1959 along with his twin sister, Karen, to Susanna Nieman and William Grossman. He also grew up with his eldest brother Roy and sister Joyce.

After high school, Kent served in the Army for several years and was stationed in South Korea where he worked as a power generator mechanic and operator. After his honorable discharge from the military, he worked as a diesel mechanic for over 30 years.

In his free time, he loved to do home improvement projects, constantly thinking of ways to build home structures and design beautiful landscape. He stayed active by hiking trails and bowling with his team. He has impressively bowled two perfect games in his life! You could also often find him out at sea, cruising around the world visiting numerous states and countries.

Although we may be stricken with grief from the loss of a loving husband and father, he will always be remembered in our hearts for his hard work and his free spirit.

There be a veteran’s ceremony held later this year in honor of Kent.
