Obituary
Kimberly “Kim” Jean Rose, 58, passed away surrounded by friends and loved ones on October 15th, 2024. Born on December 31st, 1965, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Kim was a pillar of strength to her family and the brightest light in any room.
A mother of two, sister of one, and friend of many more, Kim possessed a strong work ethic and used every ounce of it caring for her family, preparing home-cooked meals every night, helping with homework, and attending myriad extracurricular events. Her toughness and quick wit were evident to all who met her.
Aside from being a mother, Kim was a creative soul whose interests and talents both seemed boundless. In her spare time, she could be found painting, scrapbooking, making stained glass art, making papercraft designs, junk journaling, and many more. Although she was quick to be humble about her abilities, many are those who consider themselves lucky to own an original Rose.
Kim is survived by her two sons, Samuel Rose and Sean (Rachel) Rose, and her brother, Giovanni Barbari (Jen Poppy), and a tribe of loving family and friends. Kim’s legacy of compassion and strength will live on in the hearts of those she touched, forever cherished by her loved ones.
A memorial will be held for friends and local family in Mesa, Arizona on October 25th, 2024. For family in Minnesota, a Celebration of Life memorial will be planned with details to be shared in the near future.
