Obituary
Margaret Ann Hannan, 82, passed away on March 4, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona.
Peggy was born April 2, 1941, to Harry and Edith Morgan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hannan, her parents, and her sisters, Patricia Trester and Suzanne Ternes.
She is survived by her children Cindy Croxell, Bob Baker (Julie Ann) and Karen Wilkes (Kyle); Stepchildren Tracy Schwartz (Derek), Scott Hannan and Christy Hannan; Grandchildren Michael Snelling, Kevin Snelling, Chad Wilkes, Chris Wilkes, Kyla Miller, Cassy Goodman, Nick Baker and Sarah Baker, and step grandchildren Aidan Schwartz and Jessica Schwartz, 4 nieces, 5 nephews and 13 great grandchildren.
Peggy liked to refer to herself as a “domestic engineer” while raising her children and taking care of the home living in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
After moving to Mesa, AZ she worked as a beautician and earned an associate degree in Library Science at Mesa Community College. She enjoyed building doll houses and miniature furniture including a replica of the home she grew up in. She was also a writer, penning short stories and poems. She enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly called her “nana”.
A Celebration of Life will be held with a date to be determined.
