Obituary

O’Dell Gover Buttars (Del), 64, passed away on June 4, 2019 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on October 21, 1954, in Burley, Idaho.

Del was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Buttars, and his father, Ralph Buttars. He is survived by two siblings, Linda Otero of Tampa, Florida, and Richard Buttars of Stockton, California.

Del had lived in the East Valley for 30+ years and was an excellent automobile, truck, and motorcycle mechanic who could fix just about anything. His hobbies included playing his guitars and flying the model airplanes he constructed. He was curious about life and often surprised his family with tidbits of information in far-reaching subjects. Although he was a very private person, he was warm and caring to all who met him. His wit and humor will be missed.

The family plans to hold a private service for Del at a later date.
