Obituary
Robert Celso Licano age 58, of Miami, Arizona passed away on November 21, 2024 surrounded by family.
He was born in Miami, Arizona on November 21, 1966, the son of Paul and Elvira (Reyes) Licano.
Robert graduated from Miami High School in 1984 and then he enlisted in the United States Army and was assigned to the aviation division as an Apache Helicopter Mechanic. He was deployed twice to the Middle East as part of Iraqi Freedom, Desert Storm, after six years of service he left the military for civilian life. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Robert spent several years on the Miami Town Council, following the footsteps of his father.
Robert worked for approximately 20 years for the San Carlos Apache Tribe Gaming Enterprise (Apache Gold and Sky Casino’s). He held several positions; Benefits Clerk, Inspector, Compliance Officer, and his last position of Senior Compliance Officer. There he made many good friends and deep relationships.
He was an avid reader, lover of music, history, and photography. He was so good at photography, it became his passion and later he became a professional photographer.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elvira (Reyes) Licano, and nephew Jaycob Licano.
He is survived by his brother, Paul (Belinda) Licano and his sister Rebecca (Allen) Coleman of Goodyear. Along with 9 nephews and nieces, and 10 Grand-nephews and nieces.
Memorial Mass and Luncheon will be held on January 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church 844 Sullivan St. Miami, AZ 85539.

I will miss Bobby. He was a good friend. He had a real eye for beauty. He was poetic too. :). Rest in peace my friend. My love and prayers to your family.
