Roxanne Ruth Clemens was born to Grace Ellen Putrah Clemens and Colin Clemens on April 27, 1949 in Mankato, Minnesota. She died in Mesa, Arizona on April 15, 2014.

Roxanne’s family moved to Broomfield, Colorado in 1961. Roxanne completed her secondary education at Broomfield High School and attended Colorado State University. Roxanne liked traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She lived in Florida for several years near Cocoa Beach where she enjoyed canoeing in the Indian River, fishing, and traveling the Keys. She then moved to Minnesota, but after several frigid Minnesota winters she moved to Arizona to enjoy the warmer weather and to assist her parents who had relocated to Arizona. She was a devoted daughter who spent much of her time helping her parents as they grew older and their health declined.

Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew Matthew, her aunts and uncles, and several cousins. She is survived by her sister Joanne; brother in law Bill; nephew Erik; niece Julia; grand-niece Daisy Grace; dear friends Kathy, Frank, Annette, Carolyn, Frank, Vickie, Betty; and many cousins.

Roxanne was a free spirit with an engaging smile and tender heart. She was beautiful on the inside and outside. She was a loyal friend and a loving daughter, aunt, cousin, and sister. Roxanne was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Roxanne’s life will occur in Garden City, Minnesota on June 26, 2014.
