Obituary
Sgt. William Jackson Jr, born on April 11, 1955, in Bowling Green, Virginia, to his parents William
Douglas Jackson Sr and his mother Genevieve Doris Jackson, passed away
Peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength. A brother to 2 sisters, a proud father of six children, he dedicated his life to his family, instilling values of resilience and compassion in each of them.
William was also a grandfather to a host of grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit and memories. His unwavering support and guidance will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
As a dedicated serviceman, Sgt. Jackson represented honor and duty, earning respect and admiration through his life. He touched many lives with his kindness and wisdom, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where all are welcome to come together to honor and remember the remarkable man he was. Instead of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a local veterans’ organization in his name, reflecting his commitment to service and community.
Rest in peace, Sgt. William Jackson, you will be missed but never forgotten.
