Obituary

Adrienne Adele Stolar, 51, passed away on April 19, 2020 at home in Gilbert, Arizona. Adrienne was born January 19, 1969 in Rochester, New York. She is survived by her husband James Waller; her parents, Kathleen Phillips (Jon) and Michael Stolar; her brothers Marc (Kim) and Aaron (Paula) Stolar; her uncles Dennis Phillips, Edwin Phillips, Jeffrey Stolar, and Martin Stolar; her aunts Aleta Huskinson and Carol Gentile and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Scott David Stolar.
Adrienne attended grade school in West Henrietta, New York and high school in Madison Heights, Michigan. After high school she worked in hospitality services moving often between Detroit, Michigan and Phoenix, Arizona.
Adrienne was a tiny baby on her date of birth, weighing only 4 pounds, 9 ounces. She was nicknamed “Bitsy” because of her small size. Adrienne grew to a height of 5 feet, 6 inches and was no longer called “Bitsy”.
She made a permanent move to the Phoenix area where she worked at multiple places as an office manager. At her last place of employment she excelled at managing an office at a landscaping business.
Adrienne was an avid fan of all things Disney and collected Disney memorabilia for many years. Her collection was so large it filled an entire bedroom! Adrienne was also a huge fan of football, particularly the Arizona Cardinals and the Detroit Lions. She loved getting together with friends to watch the games.
Adrienne and James Waller spent 20 years sharing life, love and friendship. She married James Waller on March 19, 2019 and they were able to spend the last year of her life as husband and wife.
She was a brave warrior battling pancreatic cancer during the final year of her life.
Adrienne will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, and her beloved cocker spaniels.

    Adrienne fought so hard to stop the progression of her cancer. She was an inspiration to me and to many others. Rest In Peace now, Adrienne. All pain is gone and you are with the angels.

    I’m so sorry for all your loses, she was such a nice person. I’ve seen her many times over the past year and following her prognosis over the year. I pray for the family. Kathleen love you and I’m so grateful you got to spend every moment with her.
