Obituary
James Frank Aiello, 73, of Mesa died March 25, 2017. He was born in Chicago, the only son of Frank and Anna Aiello. He became a barber in 1961 and shortly after married his childhood sweetheart, Judith Kay. They were married for 55 years.
James yearned for travel and took many motorcycle trips around the Midwest. His interest in travel grew and he then moved his family to Mesa, Arizona in 1980. He owned the Cut Ups Barber Salon in downtown Mesa for over 27 years.
In his lifetime he was involved with many civic organizations and held positions as a Cub Scout leader, Kiwanis Club and Jaycees member, President of the Sons of Italy in Mesa as well as President of his own community HOA. He was a Realtor, Real Estate investor, open water diver and lover of hiking. He retired in 2011 and enjoyed going to his summer home in Overgaard, Arizona.
He leaves his beloved wife Judith; his children Frank, Lisa, Nick and Jackie Aiello, Jocelyn (Jim) Casselbury, Grandchildren JoAnna (Sam) Naegle, Christopher and Jonathan Donahue, Derek Garvey, Brandon and Elizabeth Casselbury, and Great Grandchild Huxley Naegle.
Jim had a wonderful life and he shared it with everyone. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was loved and will be missed dearly, but always and forever in our hearts.
A Celebration of James Life will be held from 2pm to 4pm on April 22, 2017 at The San Tan Center in Superstition Springs Village at 2820 S Springwood Blvd, Mesa AZ 85212.
Memorial contributions will be lovingly accepted in lieu of flowers at: The Villa (Hospice Care Facility) 1103 S Mesa Drive, Mesa AZ 85210 in the name of James Frank Aiello.

I am honored and blessed to have known Jim. I will never forget his kindness, his smile and the happy feelings felt by all when he walked into the room. He would often come to Spectrum to fill the vending machines and everyone would say “What a nice man, is he always that happy?” To which I would say “Always!” To Judy, his kids and grandkids, please accept my heartfelt condolences. I am always here for you in every way. Gone but never forgotten.
Rest in peace Mr. Jim.

Jimmy the Barber was always a happy “guy”. We remember the New Year’s Day hikes we would take together. This was our ritual for years. It was the best!
I remember the time I went in for a haircut. I had a mustache at that time, in fact, I had it for 15 years. Jimmy asked, “Have you ever wondered how you would look without a mustache?” I answered, “No, not really”, as he shaved one side off! He asked, “Well, what do you think?”
Jimmy the Barber was my Gumba! I will miss him/we will miss him. Jimmy will always be in our❤️.
Judy and family, just know your lose and sorrow is also ours. You are a special family! You are Jimmy’s family and he was so proud of all of you.

I did not know Jim personally but had been exposed to his presence in our building at Spectrum. I agree he was always smiling and seemed happy! My heart and prayers go out to all who are affected by his departure. From memories shared of this Man it is obvious he will me greatly missed but the memories he left stay planted in your hearts.
