Obituary

Annie Mae Davis went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on April 28, 2009 at 87 years old. Annie was born on January 31, 1922 to John and Lilly Day in McKinney, Texas. She was a devoted wife of Jimmie Orville Davis, a missionary to Old Mexico, for 63 years and the dedicated mother to five sons and five daughters. Annie was preceded in death by husband Jimmie and her three sons, Billy, Roy Lee and her grandsons Brody, Leroy Jr. and Craig and her great-grandson, Patrick. Annie enjoyed her life as a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She lived on the same land in Mesa, Arizona for over 46 years, taking care of the people she loved and being a faithful helper to her husband. Annie is survived by seven of her 10 children: Betty, Shirley, Steve, Arlene, Linda, Dorothy and Leonard, and at last count, Annie had 38 grandchildren and was the great grandmother to many others. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with Services at 11:00 at A Wise Choice Desert View Chapel, 9702 E. Apache Trail, in Mesa with Graveside services to be held at 12:30 PM at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Main St., in Mesa. Annie?s family respectfully asks that no visitors, except those that are intimate with the family, come to Annie?s family home unless they have been called ahead.

    Hi, Mother i really miss calling every weekend to see how everyone is doing.We are unable to talk to Leonard so i hope he is ok,give everyone there a big hug and a kiss from all of us.

  3. I love you grandma that for watching that summer .I’m sorry I was such a bad boy . I was so hateful and mean and you where right my mom didn’t let me get away with that stuff at home , sorry for yelling at you in bashas grocery store for makeing me leave that darn video game I loved so much (elevated action).I just wanted you to know that I didn’t mean to say I hated you because I love you your grandson Ryan. Thanks for everything , except the car rides you drive way to fast . ; )

    hi mother and daddy , we are all doing fine yes its true what leonard said shirley is moving to az. your bd is coming up soon and leonard and i will come to visit you and daddy. leonard is doing fine, we all do miss you two but i know you are not in any more pain and im sure you and daddy are doing just fine in heaven. i know you and daddy are around you visit me in my dreams. i do tell arlene and shirley every time you visit me. they are doing fine also i will see you two in my dreams . love you very much linda
