Craig Elliott Carmean

Obituary

Craig Elliott Carmean of Phoenix, Arizona passed away in his sleep on Saturday November 16, 2019 at age 67. He is survived by his wife Madonna, to whom he has been married to for 14 years. His 11 children; Monica, Jennifer, Vernon, Christopher, Madeline, Michael, Brian, Kevin, and Tyler, Brittany, and Ashley.
He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

Craig was a wonderful father, a friend to many and a stranger to no one. His charisma was inspiring, his smile warm,  and his laugh never left your ears. He had a way of overlooking things that really bothered most. To him, anything that got in the way of our happiness is just trivial.

As a father, he always taught us the importance of treating everyone as if they were your friend. He encouraged us all to live the way we wanted to, no matter what, as long as it felt right. We are thankful for all of the beauty he created here, the many laughs shared and the countless pieces of wisdom that he gave to many. He had a way of captivating you when he spoke, leaving you inspired by all of life’s beauties.

We are all deeply saddened by his passing and he shall live on in our hearts everyday. Although he his no longer with us physically, we will always see him in ourselves and his memory will never fade. Rest in peace, you are truly an irreplaceable man.

I’m so sorry for all the family left behind. There was always a good time when he was around. He came out to the Tetons and camped outside our camper and even took mountain climbing lessons with us. He had his own little laugh much like his mom Betty and every once in a while, it shows up in Monica. May you all find peace. Love you all .

  3. To the best dad a woman can have. I remember all the good times we had. I loved his sick sense of humor. When everyone else is saying cheese when a picture is taken he would tell us to say “Pussy”. Lol the way he looked around with us all. It’s going to be missed dearly. I love you Dad and miss you like crazy. I no ur not here anymore but still look after Mom. She needs it badly.
