Obituary
In Loving Memory of Dana Christy Du Bois
Dana Christy Du Bois, beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, daughter and dear sister, departed from this world on May 2, 2024. She was 62 years old.
Dana was born on October 15, 1961, In Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her parents were Frederick (Fred) and Dorothy (Dotty) Black. Dana’s life was a testament to love and family. She was the loving wife of Thomas Du Bois for over 44 years.
She leaves behind her children, Brittany Hill (Ian), Courtney Du Bois, Tiffany Sandoval (Gerald), and Cassidy Du Bois (Gabe), who were the light of her life. Dana poured her heart and soul into nurturing and guiding her children, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience, and compassion.
Dana was also a doting nana to Parker and Allie Hill, who brought immeasurable joy and laughter into her life. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, creating precious memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
In addition to her immediate family, Dana is survived by her brother, Rick, and nephews Ricky and Jimmy Black. She was a source of strength and support to her extended family, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting presence.
Though Dana may no longer walk among us, her love of palm trees, San Clemente, and her family will continue to live on in our minds and hearts forever.
