I had the pleasure of knowing Dennis since we began our 3M careers together at our first sales meeting in 1969. What a fine man with incomparable character.
Our deepest sympathies to Mary and the rest of the family.

  4. Our condolences, love and prayers are with all of the Farmer family. I remember a handsome man marrying my beautiful Aunt, and how in love they looked. That handsome man will be missed.

  5. Mark Farmer says:

Dad, you and Mom showed us the way just by the way you loved each other every day. Watching your example made me want to be like you. I could always rely on you to keep things in perspective for me and help me to know what’s really important in life and what was not worth additional attention. Your sense of humility was also quite admirable for a man who accomplished so much in his life. Together, you and Mom had the courage to be adventurous, while dragging three boys around the world. That spirit gave me the confidence many times in my life to take risks that helped me grow. And you never forgot to listen to the music and smile and laugh along the way. I hope I can pass along to my children and grandchildren the qualities in your character that I so admired.
