About Glenn R. Heckman
Glenn Roger Heckman, Sr., 76 years old, passed away December 5, 2017 in Mesa, AZ after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born September 1, 1941 in Decatur, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn; daughter Terri Johnson (Carl) Midway, Georgia; son Glenn, Jr. Mesa, AZ; brother Irwin Heckman (Akiko), Aloha, Oregon; brother-in-law Charles Cooper, Moreland, Georgia and seven grandchildren. Celebration of life service, in his honor, will be held Thursday, December 14, 6:00 PM, at Velda Rose United Methodist Church, 5440 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85205. Reception being held at the church after service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Velda Rose United Methodist Church.

With deepest sympathy I encourage the family to take to heart the true hope of a resurrection that the Bible teaches.(Acts 24:15) When the earth is restored to a paradise, the wicked will be no more. (Psalm 37:9-11; Isaiah 35:1-10) Pain, death and sorrow will be things of the past. Revelation 21:1-4 These scriptures help me to cope, I hope they touch your heart as well.
