Joseph James Hahn 98yrs Old Born March 25, 1926, Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family May 2, 2024. Survived by his loving wife, Lillian, of 76 years.
They were high school sweethearts. He served in the Army during World War II.
They had 4 children: James, Nancy (Richard) Tereba, Susan (Louis) DiGirolamo, and Jack (Kathy). He was blessed with eight grandchildren: Richard (Kathy), Michelle (Mike), Doug (Annie), Steven (Jinny), Diana (Eric), Krissy (Raul), Shelly, Jen (Matt). He is blessed with 17 Great Grandchildren: Nicole, Sam, Julia, Evan, Eric, Breanne, Chad, Aidan, Sean, Blake, Quinn, Olivia, Logan, Alexandria, Elizabeth, Keegan, and Liam. He is blessed with 3 Great Great Grandchildren: Lilyana, Milena, Arian; not to mention many beloved grand dogs & cats. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Geraldine Hahn, and his sister, Geri.

They lived in North Riverside, IL, enjoyed a summer home in Lake Geneva, WI, then moved to Mesa, AZ for 27 years. Aside from being a business owner, he loved to travel, being part of various clubs/organizations such as square dancing and Model A Clubs. He enjoyed volunteering in each of his communities, church, school board, and various committees.

In 1981, he flew in the World Hot Air Balloon Championships. In 2001, he celebrated his 75th birthday by skydiving. In 2016, Joe participated in the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. In 2023, he flew on a B17-G.

What a legacy he had. He will never be forgotten. He was loved by many. Remember him with joy and laughter because that’s how he will remember you.
