Obituary

Bonnie Elaine (Blair) Lorenc, age 90, of Mesa, Arizona, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at home, surrounded by family.

Bonnie was born in Ogden, Utah on May 10, 1925 to the late Leo and Myrtle (Christensen) Blair. She was an active member of the LDS church. Bonnie had many careers throughout her life, but none more important than being a mother to her nine children. Later in life, she became an accomplished and award winning poet.

Bonnie was an incredible person who loved spending time with her family. She loved to read, write in her journal, play the piano and sang beautifully. She was also a breast cancer survivor.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lorenc; three of her children, Cheryl Davis, Ronald Lorenc and Rhonda Davis; her parents, her brother, Berdell Blair, and her, sister Geraldine Bangerter.

She is survived by six of her children, Cameron Lorenc, Mike Lorenc, Candace Clark, Randy Lorenc, Chris Mickelson, Jonathon Lorenc and their spouses. She has 41 Grandchildren and 106 (still growing) Great-Grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 2:00 pm, at the LDS church located at 32584 N Gary Road, San Tan Valley, 85142. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service.

    My love and prayers to Randy, Cyndi, Erika, and all the family. It is comforting to know that Momma-Grandma is now in Heaven looking after each of you, still.

  2. She was a beautiful lady. I only met her a couple times, but each time I left feeling like she thought I was someone special. She had a wonderful ability to make others feel loved. She will be missed.
